Sub on the Hub Restaurant is a family run business. It was started 8 years ago as the only sub shop in Hay River, Northwest Territories which is known to be the business hub on the North. That's how the name came about.

We moved to Nanaimo in October, 2007 and we opened our second location at the Beban Recreation Centre on February 2008. We kept the same name considering Nanaimo is also known as the Hub of the island.

Our business is focused on friendly service and serving quality foods. We offer a broad menu that caters healthy selections like subs, pita wraps, salads, soups as well as the old time favourites like burgers, hotdogs, and poutine.

We also serve full breakfasts, espressos, herbal teas, real fruit smoothies and luncheons. Catering is also available upon request.
